Our June 17th Networking Event was a SUCCESS!!!

I want to say thank you to the following people for attending our 2nd Networking Event on Monday, June 17th:

  • Tricia Caldwell
  • Mark Bryan
  • Steve Babcock
  • Janet Fowler
  • Lisa Vance
  • Renee Plowden
  • Deanna Little (co-founder of CSBERG)

I was extremely satisfied by the turnout (as the skies did get gray for a little while) and for the amount of valuable of information that was shared by all attendees! I will be updating both the CSBERG website and website with some of the information that was shared during our discussion!

Special thank you to Steve Babcock, of Soft Wash Wizard, for enlightening me on why I spend the amount of time that I do to prepare for a training session. Yes, I promise to continue to follow the 5-P's; "Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance"

Stay tuned for more information that was shared at our last event!

Celebrate Small Business Week - Small Business Resource Fair (Cabarrus County, NC)

What an awesome event! The Small Business Resource Fair was incredible! A much needed breath of fresh air as I was truly able to connect with multiple organizations that are setup to assist small start-up businesses like TAB Training & Consulting, LLC; I learned valuable information about my "entrepreneurial personality" (what a revelation that was!); and met local business owners willing to network, share ideas and difficulties experienced through their respective businesses. So I shared with them information about CSBERG and invited them to the next event on June 17th.  I am very excited about the potential for CSBERG to provide information and resources to small business start-up owners, entrepreneurs and employed-entrepreneurs!

Networking is KEY to Success!

Stay tuned for more updates/outcomes from the event!

A New Local Resource Launched on April 4th!

A new local Concord (NC) resource launched on Thursday evening, April 4, 2013 called the "Cabarrus Small Business and Entrepreneur Resource Group" or CSBERG for short.   The first workshop was held at Panera Bread across from Concord Mills Mall on a rainy and cold evening.  The event was free and local businesses were encouraged to attend the free event that featured a presentation on "Managing Your Business Finances" in recognition of April as Financial Literacy Month.  The group was started by three local entrepreneurs with a vision to provide resources and networking opportunities for business owners in Concord, Cabarrus County & neighboring communities.  The niche that the group particularly focuses on are entrepreneurs and small business owners that hold full-time jobs; whether in the Corporate world; as at-home parents; college students or as full-time caregivers.
